FAQ's
The best way to begin working with Comforce is to submit your resume either by fax:  (828)254-
1240 or email: jobs@comforceasheville.com.  After your qualifications are reviewed by our
Staffing Managers, they will contact you if there is a match for one of our open positions.

How do I know if my resume was received?
We cannot communicate confirmation for every resume we receive, however, if there is a match
between your qualifications and one of our open positions, you will be contacted to set up an
appointment.  If you believe you are qualified for a position through Comforce and do not hear a
confirmation from us within 3 days of sending your resume, please call to find out the status.

Are there any fees involved?
There are no fees for you, the applicant.

What can I expect during my appointment time?
We use appointment times to get to know you, the candidate, as well as we possibly can.  You
can expect to be in our office anywhere from 30-45 minutes as we talk to you, fill out simple
paperwork and get your resume in our computer database.  Please remember to bring two
forms of identification (driver's license and social security card or birth certificate), a clean,
hardcopy of your resume and at least 3 professional work references.

How do I fill out a timecard?
To ensure that your timecard can be processed, be sure to complete the following for each week:
  1. Supervisor's signature.
  2. Week ending date is always Sunday.
  3. Your job number, given to you at the time a position is accepted.
  4. Total hours for the week.  Please be aware that lunch hours are unpaid, so be sure to
subtract this time from your daily total.
  5. Check either "hold check" or "mail check" .  When turning in your timecards, the
goldenrod copy on the bottom is yours to keep, the white is for your employer and the
remaining top three copies (white, yellow and pink) are the ones to return to Comforce.

What do I do with my timecard?
Timecards must be returned to the Comforce office by Monday morning at 8:00 a.m.  You may
fax your completed timecard to us as early as Friday afternoon at (828)254-1240, however all
hard copies must be returned to Comforce the week following the assignment.  Hardcopies of
timecards can be dropped at our office during office hours, mailed, or put in our drop-box
outside the office entrance at any time.

When do I get paid?
At the current time, paychecks are mailed out weekly.  You can indicate on your paycheck
whether you would like to have your paycheck mailed or held for pick-up. If having your paycheck
mailed, it will be put in the mail on Wednesday.  If we hold your paycheck, you can pick up your
paycheck from the Comforce office after 12:00 Noon on Thursday and all day Friday.  You can
also sign up for our Direct Deposit Program or Money Network Prepaid Card.

What about Using a Money Network Prepaid Card or receiving a Money
Network branded check?
Comforce Asheville is in the process of transferring all mailed paycheck requests to the Money
Network Service where you are paid weekly by either a Money Network branded check or by
receiving your paycheck on a Money Network Prepaid Card which acts just like a debit/credit card.

How do I sign up for direct deposit?
You can have all of your paychecks automatically deposited to the bank account of your choice
simply by providing us with a voided check and filling out the Direct Deposit Authorization Form.
Stop by or call us to have the authorization form faxed to you or visit the  Employee page and find
    it under the "Printable Documents".

Once I am signed up for Direct Deposit, how do I receive my paycheck
stubs and timecards?
Once your direct deposit goes into effect, you can view your paycheck and benefits elections
online.  You will receive a phone call from us notifying you of the change, one paystub, and paper
instructions on how to obtain your paycheck stub through ePay.  See the Employee page for the
ePay link, instructions and printable timecards.

What if I am having trouble getting my
paycheck stubs via ePay?
If you are having difficulty or have questions about ePay, please contact their User Support Line
    at 1-800-475-9178.

When am I eligible for Health Insurance?
You are eligible for health insurance after 30 days of work and at least one work week of 35
hours.  After your 30 days of work, you have 60 days to sign up.  The healthcare documents are
given to you, the candidate, during your first two weeks of working at your assignment.  If
misplaced, call or stop by our office for another set.
